What we do

Residential repaints are the bulk of the work, inside and out. New construction and light commercial too.

Interior painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and stairwells — with the drywall repair and texture matching that has to happen first.

  • Full floor and furniture protection
  • Cracks and nail pops repaired, not painted over
  • Two finish coats, cut by hand
Interior painting

Exterior painting

Hardie board, vinyl, stucco, brick, soffit, fascia, gutters, doors and porches — prepped for humidity, pollen and hard afternoon sun.

  • Washed down to clean, dry substrate
  • Coatings matched to fiber cement, stucco and masonry
  • Ladders and staging for tall gables
Exterior painting

Cabinet painting & fine finishing

A hand-finished kitchen for a fraction of new cabinets — plus built-ins, mantels, rails, doors and wood refinishing.

  • Degreased, sanded and bonding-primed
  • Cabinet-grade enamel that cures hard
  • Kitchen stays usable through most of it
Cabinets & fine finishing

Decks, fences & pressure washing

Pressure washing, deck cleaning and brightening, staining, sealing and fence work — plus gutter cleaning while we are up there.

  • Soft-washed, not blasted apart
  • Semi-transparent, solid or clear
  • Dry time respected before stain goes on

Cracks, water damage, ceiling patches, skim coating, wallpaper removal and the light carpentry that goes with it.

How a job actually runs

Five steps, in this order, every time. You will know what is happening and when.

  1. We come and look at it

Estimates are free and they happen in person, usually within a few days of your call. Jason walks the job with you, asks what is bothering you about the space, and measures what needs measuring.

  2. You get it in writing

A written estimate broken out by room or elevation, so you can see what each part costs and drop anything you would rather not do this year. No pressure and no expiring discount.

  3. Prep — where the job is won

Covering, masking, washing, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and priming. It is the least glamorous part of the week and it is the part that decides how the job looks in five years.

  4. Paint

Two coats of a product chosen for that surface, cut in by hand. We start when we say we will start, and you know which days we are in the house.

  5. We walk it together

Before the last payment, you and Jason go through the job with fresh eyes and a punch list. Anything that needs another pass gets one.

Questions people ask

What does a paint job cost?

It depends on size, condition and how much repair is hiding under the old finish, which is why the estimate is free and in person. For a rough sense of scale, project costs customers have reported publicly on our Angi profile run from around $1,100 for a couple of rooms up to about $6,800 for larger whole-house work.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. The visit, the measure and the written estimate are free, and there is no obligation attached to any of them.

Are you insured?

Yes. Caridi Painting & Finishing, Inc. carries liability insurance, and we are glad to put a certificate in your hands before anyone sets a ladder against the house. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating and hold Angi Super Service Awards for 2022 and 2025.

How far out do you travel?

Roughly forty-five minutes from Greenville. That covers all of Greenville County — Greer, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Taylors, Travelers Rest, Fountain Inn and Five Forks — plus Easley, Powdersville, Piedmont, Anderson, Clemson and the Spartanburg side. If you are not sure, call — we will tell you straight away.

What paint do you use?

Professional-grade products matched to the surface: masonry coatings on brick, cabinet enamels on cabinets, stain-blocking primers where a stain would otherwise ghost through. We will tell you the exact product line before we start, and you are welcome to pick the sheen and the color with us.

Do we have to be home while you work?

No. Plenty of our customers are at work all day. We will agree access with you beforehand and you will know exactly which days we are there.

How long does a job take?

Most interiors run one to seven days — a room or two is quick, a whole house sits at the top of that range. Exteriors are usually three to seven working days depending on size, prep and weather. You get a schedule up front and a call if the weather moves it.

Do you warranty the work?

Yes. If something we did fails, call us and we will come back and make it right.

Do you take on commercial work?

Light commercial, yes — storefronts, offices, common areas and rentals. Anything larger, ask and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right crew for it.
